The Pittstown Historical Society (PHS) owns many of these photographs, but many are scanned from original photos that were loaned to us. The text accompanying the images was for the most part taken from notes found on the back of the photos. Unfortunately the majority of the photos are undated. The Austins were early settlers in Pittstown who lived on Austin Road. In addition to the photos, the PHS owns documents relating to the Austin family.
